The department of Pathology and Microbiology deals with the etiopathogenesis, clinical features & investigations of various human diseases & infections. Pathology clarifies the causes & mechanism of disease & explains scientifically the structure & functional changes seen in diseased organs and tissue at microscopic and molecular levels and Microbiology deals infective organisms, the infections they cause, their diagnosis and management.
